Administrative Notes for Setting Up Your ANGEL Domain

Accounts

All accounts have the following requirements:

• SourceID same as Login Name, to work with integration.
• First Name, Last Name and Email are required.
• Allow ANGEL Authentication. This must be checked to allow the user to login.
• Password: No restrictions. WAOL convention has been to use the first five letters of the last name, and require a password change upon first login.
• Account Group: [your school] Note: this is set by default in Account Manager.

Faculty-Specific Settings

Department: Appropriate department, based on Common Course Numbering.

WAOL convention is:

CourseID: WAOL_[quarter code][course id][section]
For example, WAOL_W090002SEC1.

For example, W09 English Composition II: Analysis, Argumentation Section 1
