WAOL Blackboard to ANGEL Migration & Elluminate Rollout
In the spring of 2006, the community and technical college system started a course management system (CMS) review project. A large system group worked hard at researching and defining technical requirements for a course management system, surveying faculty and IT staff, and managing a three-phase request for proposal process. http://www.sbctc.edu/college/_g-elccmshome.aspx
The CMS review team selected ANGEL Learning (http://www.angellearning.com) as the winner of the RFP process, so the State Board eLearning team negotiated a contract with ANGEL that will be used by WashingtonOnline (WAOL) as part of a suite of teaching and learning tools and support services. Beginning July 1, 2008, WAOL will migrate its current operation from Blackboard software and hosting services to ANGEL software and hosting.
