In addition to a Course Submission form, any course that will
be "shared" with the system is required to have a course
outline submitted by the DLC or lead instructor. The DLC/Instructor will be notified through
their MyWAOL page when the new course outline has been processed. Course
Outlines can be accessed and viewed through the WAOL Master Course List.
Follow these steps to submit a course
outline
1. Log in to your MyWAOL page. 2.
Click the "Course Management" link located in the Course Maintenance box. 3. Click
"Submit or Update the Course Outline for this Course." 4. Scroll down to the instructions on
how to upload a shared course outline. 5.Click
the "Download" link and save the course outline to your desktop. 6. Open the Shared Course Outline in
Word then highlight and replace the text after each question to complete. 7. In
Word, "Select File > Save As Web Page" to save the outline to your
desktop as a web page. 8. On
the Course Outline Submission Form, Click "Browse" and locate the updated Course Outline on your desktop. 9. Click
"Attach Outline" to send WAOL your completed Shared Course
Outline.
*note: you must first close the document in Word before it will successfully upload to
MyWAOL.

Click to download the "Shared Course Outline" template.
Choose "Save this file to disk"
from the window that pops up and
save the file to your desktop.

Complete the Shared Course Outline
by highlighting and replacing the text after each question.
After completing the course outline, save
it to your desktop as a web page by
clicking File > Save As Web Page. At this point you can change
the name of the file if you wish.

To send your completed course outline
to WAOL, click the "Browse"
button and locate the new Shared Course Outline document on your computer.
Click on your Course Outline document
to select it, then click the "Attach
Outline " button.
*note: you must have closed the
document in word before it will successfully upload to MyWAOL.
