How to Find Your Course ID to Copy

To find the "Course ID to copy" 
logon to BB and click on the "Course Id's" tab at the top of the page. Under the name of the course you want copied for the next quarter, you will see "Course ID" enter this code into the "Course ID to copy" field on the Intent-to-Teach form.

Click on the Course Id's tab, the Course ID to copy is located under the course title


If it is the first time you are teaching a particular course, you will not have a Course ID to copy. In this case you will receive a copy of the most recent version of the lead instructor's classroom. Enter "1st Time" into the Course ID to copy field of the Intent-to-Teach form. You will then receive a copy of the classroom that you can begin to customize. The "course ID to copy" is comprised of the following information:s

What is the "Course ID to copy" ?
The "Course ID to copy" is what Blackboard uses to identify your course. Copying a classroom ensures that you do not have to re-create content for that course each quarter.

To copy your classroom, you must provide information about the course that you want to have copied. This information is found in the Course ID to copy.

The Course ID to copy is not the same as the WAOL ID or the Course Item Number.
  Sample Course ID to copy:

WAOL_F025100sec1 = Fall 2002 Health & Wellness section 1

Course ID to Copy example

F02 = Fall 2002
5100 = four digit WAOL ID for Health & Wellness
sec1 = section 1
